Obtaining a Soil Sample

We use a special 35-foot auger to extract the soil from the bottom to examine in the lab. Soil sampling is very critical because if you misdiagnose and claim that the levels of contamination are low or non-contaminated it could result in a big financial detriment in the form of wrong uses of a site or even worse affecting people working on site and ongoing environmental pollution.

If you overestimate or claim there is a high level of pollution this can also be detrimental to the development of your site. The remediation cost can escalate quickly when it’s not necessary, or you could be advised to leave the site due to high levels of pollution in the soil that may be hazardous to your health.
