Storm Drain Maintenance

These systems transport and collect runoff rain water that may contain certain pollutants from parking lots and roads. Over extended periods of time these structures become impacted and clogged which results in flooding.

Restoring proper drainage of these structures requires maintenance. All rainwater must be removed from structures to access the sand bottoms. Removal of water can be performed with either a pump truck, trailer, or by trash pumping the water from one storm drain into an empty storm drain. Then a vactor will remove the bottom sediment from these structures. Bank run soil is required to be placed back into structures to insure them from settling. Proper drainage will then be restored.

The cost for this service is inexpensive because soil removed can be disposed at a landfill.
